[ again, not the babysitter for the week, but she'll come find him somewhere in the suburb and they can go somewhere speak in private because...yeah. she has a feeling what this might be about. bold move during honesty week, though. ] You wanted to talk?

First of all, I need to apologize. [This is extremely awkward, but it needs to be addressed.]

I acted extremely inappropriately during the party the other day. I put you on the spot, publicly, and I'm sorry.

[grigori]

[ oh. ...well, she's fine with this actually. ] Apology accepted. I was worried that you would come to regret it given the conditions that you were under, but it didn't seem like that was the case. I was nervous because it was in front of everyone else.

[reflash]

I meant everything I said. [Just to clarify that point. He's going a little pink.]

I do regret the... conditions, and I'm sorry I made you nervous. But I don't regret saying it.

[grigori]

It's fine. It worked out well in the end. I sort of wish it could have gone differently but as long as you meant everything then I don't mind. [ she'll just smile at him and to herself some. ] I meant what I said, too. [ ... ] There's...still someone else who I care for deeply but someone else also loves him and so I'll step back to be his second. This doesn't mean I don't like any you less. [ reaching up to touch the side of his face. ] I want to see you happy, Yukio, and if I can make you happy then that's even better.

[reflash]

We're both alike, in that case. [Both of them have someone else they like, who they've given up on for the sake of another, is that how it is?

He raises his hand, brushes it against hers as it rests on his face.]

I want to see you happy too.

[ that's precisely what it is and whether if it's for the better or not is left in the air and she'll momentarily lean into the touch. it's nice to have something like this. a small something. and because it's honesty week and sometimes despite being a very honest person there are things that are just hidden inside that come out anyway. if only because she has some things to say about her own personal happiness. ] It hurts to know that there so many of you who are in pain in ways that I can't do more to fix. I feel guilty for seeking happiness for myself but if this is something I want... I should be allowed. I want everyone to have their happiness. I want people to stop hurting.

You're a good person, Shamsiel. [no honorific there, he's testing it out and turning a little pink.]

You should have your chance for happiness.

[grigori]

Sometimes I feel like a selfish person. [ well given how many people refer to her by that simply, she's not that moved but she does smile a bit more softly. ] I want all of these things without telling others. [ and to also gently guide it away from her. ] You said "first of all", that means you have more to say, right?

[reflash]

It does. [oh, we're not guiding anything away from her]

Are you really all right with being a sample?

[grigori]

[ ah, well, can't call this a surprise and she'll try to smile. though since this is honesty week and which funny because this is definitely one of the things she would lie about with the exception that. well?? ] ...yes. Yes, I am. [ ... ] I don't want to hold everyone back from doing what they need to do. The living are aware that they have things that are important to us that if used correctly will prevent us from dying for good. [ except that it's been made very clear that her items have not been returned/found. touches the ground but only in meta. ]

The items they mentioned, that they've retrieved when they go elsewhere during the week.

Do you know where yours is? Can you send them there directly, or are you prevented from that?

[grigori]

No, I have no idea where it is. I don't even know what item it would be. [ because wouldn't have just have been too easy to do, huh? if she could tell them what to look out for but she doesn't even know what happens. ] It's a surprise that they showed up at all.

[reflash]

If the others are finding their items, then yours shouldn't be far behind. We should be anticipating it being recovered in the next week.

[grigori]

They found Rameel's this past week and then someone else's the week before. [ closes eyes at various things. ] If they're going to find mine, then it would have to be this week. Baraqiel's still missing as well, of course, but there's talk about how it might be able to be retrieved.

[reflash]

I hate being useless.

[ugh he didn't mean to say that.]

Is there anything I can do?

[grigori]

No one enjoys being useless. [ it sure is honesty week. ] But not right now. There might be something later if things work out as they're supposed to, and at that point I'd hope you'd be able to help me then.

[reflash]

Of course. I'll do whatever you need me to do.

[grigori]

Keep my item safe. I don't know what will happen or how it will happen, but if those are important to everything then please keep it safe. I'll still need it back when they find it but if it being my "anchor" is literal, then I'll need it to be anchored somewhere.

[reflash]

Of course. I'll... do everything I can to keep it safe.

[grigori]

I know you will. So, hopefully they'll bring it back so you can take care of it when the rest of the proposed plan starts to be realized.

[reflash]

If they retrieve it, I'll be sure to ask for it. [oh actually he's... going a little pink now.[

[grigori]

[ and she will not know why and but she'll smile for it. ] I'll have to take it back first. I'm not entirely sure why it has to come back to me, but I'll know when I get it back, I guess. It'll be after that... [ before she explodes probably. ]

Well then, it should be easy for me to get ahold of it. [he won't have to threaten anyone for shamsy item]

Yes, I'd think so. It's just now hoping that they do, which I'm sure will happen. [ EXCEPT NO ONE HAS RETURN ANY ITEM SO THIS IS FUNNY. ]
