Kotetsu spoke to him for a while, I think... he learned quite a bit, too.
He told him an "Angel" told him to kill. (Watching Yomiel to see if hec an read anything from his reaction (or lack of) that might follow,) Do you know anything about this?
They said if he did it, he could return home and see his friends. Kotetsu thinks he had a choice but... Bertolt was young and the world he came from, while unkind, was important. It's hardly a choice.
(checks tag maybe they told me the wrong watcher hmmm ANYWAY)
They visited a ship. They found quite a number of bodies— at least twenty-four. When he looked at the bodies, he found that they had been dead for a few weeks or a month. They also had the same pattern of injuries— impact injuries, missing limbs that had been torn from their bodies as if they'd been alive.
And on one of the bodies, they a crest like the ones from the last city but they were dressed like they came from this one… They also found a tapestry... that showed the city above sea level, under the sky.
The other groups that went missing also found clues, notably, the last one.
[ oh we misread that was a mini-cyoa so it's fine NEVERMIND. ]
Oh, I did hear some about that. A crest, though? [ that's new. ] I haven't heard anything from the group who came back on Friday, but honestly, there's only so much I can give you. All I know is that there might be some kind of sea monster outside of this bubble, and it might have something to do with what happened on that ship, but it's no guarantee.
(im sorry tsuru doesnt ic know it was a mini one they are all good adventures to him ok)
The one with the... angel wings?
(Kind of fanning his hands out in a circle shape?? To look like the symbol from the operahouse and stuff.)
I'm still learning about the last group. According to Dokja, they split into two groups so I need to speak to the other half. (Which just? Makes him look so tired. He sighs. This is easier when he has young, ambitious spirits doing the legwork for him and he can just vibe and do something easy like keeping watch.) Some of the others are mentioning a meeting later but there's a lot of information to gather and organize.
And now there's a sea monster too? This is the first I've heard of it.
Oh. No one mentioned that. That's... odd? I didn't think they were actually related. [ shows what they know, huh. ] Another meeting like the ones you had before might help, though - at least to get everything you know together.
Hopefully, someone else does it. I've shared what I know. If everyone knows I'm working hard, they might think I'm boring.
(Which is just insulting. Ah, but cheering up some now that the topic is changing?!)
Konnosuke. They're little fox spirits. (And he holds out his hands to show about how big the average Konnosuke is,) They help us record our observations and communicate messages. Ah, and their tails are so cute... I just want to pull them every time!
It is boring. Imagine if they knew they would say things like, "Ah, Tsurumaru Kuninaga! He works hard. We can give him even more." And then there wouldn't be any time for surprises.
(He said what he said.)
Eh? I would never hurt Konnosuke. They're all my cute little friends~ (He holds out his hand and sort of just... tugs lightly at the air.) Just enough to surprise them.
(AND GET WHACKED FOR IT LATER its fine.)
Don't worry, despite their size, they're quite durable. They have to be to follow us on assignments~

He'll stop For now. He stands up straight and lets Yomiel have their space,)
In time.
(Crossing his arms,)
There are more important things to deal with than who we are to each other... but don't mistake that for thinking who we are is unimportant.

And don't put words in my mouth. I never said that didn't matter.

(They're on the same page there. But ok it looks like he's had his fun for the day.........)
Nine was one of ours. And Bertolt-kun told Kotetsu he was, too. Is it true?
no subject
Yeah. It's true.

An "angel." [ they speak slowly, as if testing the word. ] As in... one of us, the Watchers, or someone else? Did he say?
no subject
(So. Who knows.)
They said if he did it, he could return home and see his friends. Kotetsu thinks he had a choice but... Bertolt was young and the world he came from, while unkind, was important. It's hardly a choice.

I know there's supposedly a "messenger" out there that isn't one of us, but that's all. Whether that has anything to do with Hoover, I can't say.

And let's see... I know you spoke to Kim Kitsuragi about his adventure.

I didn't, but maybe another Watcher has. Why?

[ they mumble it, voice trailing off to listen to tsurumaru explain. ]
Sounds useful. Pulling their tails though... Isn't that just being mean? Wouldn't it hurt them?
