Not personally, no. When we came through the storm a week ago, a few of us were able to see some spectres before they seemed to be gone, but no signs of the adults that come from the city.
But we're able to keep track of our... team members, I suppose, so we've been able to follow the theories so far. While none of us can say for sure, I'm in favor of the theory of the spectres being involved. It makes the most sense to me.
Movements like ink in water, but they moved freely through the air - fluid, quick. They didn't appear to be solid, though, considering they had their own dust trails in the air as they moved. Like thousands of grains of sand compiled together, but dark and blackish. Not all of the Watchers can see them, though.

You don't fall from a height for no reason, especially not when you're desperately clutching onto a token of your faith even in death.
In some fashions. But we know so little about them, how they act, what they can do to a person, that I'm hesitant to compare them to anything that I'm used to. Were it something unusual, back in my world, I would be able to at least hazard a guess.
Not in the same vein, but there are always beasts that go bump in the night looking to make an easy meal of an unsuspecting human. Exercising caution is better safe than sorry.
So long as it gets its message across, and offers you the image you need, then that's all that matters.
I agreed to this for the sake of someone I would see remain safe. What time I spend here is to ensure that, even if I have to spend a little extra getting to the bottom of the unanswered questions we all have.
