A CYOA (Choose Your Own Adventure) is a plotted event in which specific characters can obtain plot-relevant information or exclusive items. Unlike the mid-week mini-events, these are threaded in private and involve heavy mod participation. Please keep in mind that participating characters often risk minor to severe injury as well as other potential consequences, depending on their choices in the situation they're faced with.
CYOAs will require heavy tagging and coordination with your fellow players over the course of the week, as they must be completed before Friday, or ideally before Thursday at 8 PM EST / 5 PM PST. Please be aware of your schedule and time constraints when you sign up!
All sign-ups will be screened, and a certain number of players will be rolled to participate. We will be doing our best to ensure that everyone in the group has similar tagging schedules for timing purposes, usually based on timezones, but don't be afraid to toss your name in the hat! While we can't guarantee that every player will be able to go on a CYOA, we want everyone who is interested to have a chance.
And if you aren't chosen in a given week, no worries! We'll keep your sign-up in the pool for the remaining weeks. Alternatively, if you have already gone on a CYOA, you can sign up again, but please know that we will give priority to those who haven't gone yet.

This game, we will be allowing players to run their own CYOAs if time allows. Similar to signing up for a mod-run CYOA, players opting to run a CYOA should be aware of their tagging schedule for that week so that they may tag consistently. The deadline for player proposals is Monday at 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST, but please try to sign up earlier if possible that we can help set things up!
While signing up isn't a guarantee, we will try to make as many work as we can! Also note that players will not be allowed to run a CYOA the same week they participate in a mod-run CYOA, but please feel free to sign up for both.
If you are interested in submitting a proposal, please see the form below! All you really need is a rough outline of what you plan to do in your CYOA. It should be something related to your character, their memories, or their canon in some way, but otherwise, it's flexible! The important thing is to include tasks for players can accomplish or challenges to overcome. There can be danger (physical or otherwise), and chances to fail. Just make sure that any objectives you include can be finished by the Friday deadline!
We'll also be allowing mini CYOAs this game! These will be treated as a quick way to learn more about the world and have a small, quick adventure. Solo mini CYOAs will be allowed, though we do suggest taking one or two other characters with you to explore the world.
These will be shorter adventures than standard CYOAs and involve direct communication with the mod team. We will be limiting these each week, but we will do our best to accomodate our players. That said, please limit sign-ups to one per week for each player.
