it's not like they have any idea that there's someone in front of him. they are deaf to his breathing or any kind of other noise he can make. it's not 100% fool proof so maybe he shouldn't test his luck but if akira was to proceed ahead without the others then he's more than welcomed to. the inside of the church, that he can see, looks pretty oridinary and nothing special but those cloaked figures from earlier haven't fully made it through the building.
so, as for kim and diluc... what are the two of them going to do? ]
Saying Akira knows how to be stealthy isn't accurate, but he does know how to not stomp around and that is the most we can ask of him. Thankfully Nagako is around his shoulders at the moment in her mamushi form, so we have no kangaroo hopping to alert the guards either. For the time being he'll shadow the cloaked figures from before at a reasonable distance while taking in the inside of the church. ]

In the meantime, let's see how these illusions work.
[ is he coming back? hopefully akira is coming back but if he isn't then i guess it's telepathy all the way except there's no visual only brain/emotion link. and for akira's shadowing, he'll want to make sure he isn't too much closer to the cloaked figures because they'll catch on that something isn't quite right behind them. a sixth sense? hmm. they'll take a moment to pause and make sure that someone didn't manage to sneak in without them knowing. (pity them.)
from where the cloaked figures stopped, he can see that there is an opening to another room—not typical as it opens into a room of more clockwork like machinery that's far more advance and completely foreign to the technology around them. or, well, what akira would be used to seeing. you gonna try your luck and scoot past them?
and as diluc makes an attempt to create the illusions, he'll realize that he needs to be moving in order to create them instead of them being station illusions, they'll be more of after images of where he would have been. however, to make things not as awkward or to make the matter almost moot, it he will find himself hard to track while the after images are created. the "bend light" aspect of his ability. quite useful!
however the after images of diluc will not last forever and will disappear after about 30 seconds. respectable but also a pity. ]

He's not getting up in the guards business but he'll watch this next door check to see what the cards look like, while every once in a while glancing to see what that one duo of guests is up to.
Gimme a second. I only have ten minutes on this and there's another room deeper inside that looks complicated as hell. If you can get in here do it, I'm not gonna just wait around. ]
