"Gigantomachia"? [ they'll have to think about the word for a moment because well. some of it sounds familiar? ] Like a giant?
When you say a new "story" is that similar to how you'd consider a power, then? Also, what's this about Theseus? Did you get into an argument with him?
[ ... ]
Nevertheless, these stories of your's seem so exciting. Just like one huge epic.
"The Gigantomachia hosted by the great nebula Olympus. It was an event of the Star Stream where five or six sub-giants trapped in Tartarus were released and hunted in order to enjoy an old victory." [ Dokja remembers those words from the story to describe it- he honestly even sounds like he's reading it from a book. ] It was a war of the past, but made into a Scenario for the Constellations to reenact old battles. Theseus was part of the reenactment and got attacked during it, Poseidon simply sought to blame it on us. That's all.
[ Ah, yes. The most important aspect of his world- ] You can consider it a power of sorts. Incarnations like Yoo Joonghyuk, Constellations like myself, we're made of stories. Fables that give us strength and power, that provide us protection and even have some special effects depending on said story. Basically, the more stories you have, the more powerful you are.
[ He laughs a little at that. ] It's one thing after another. Were we back in my world, my Fables would actually tell you their story to you directly themselves.
[ He's sure he would have gathered quite a few stories here himself too. also me: *gestures wildly at orv lore ]
sometimes there's so much going on here that's it's like "blinks fastly and waits for brain to catch up", but actually in this cause, shamsiel is honestly a bit starry eyed (if he could see their eyes) about the whole concept. ]
Your world sounds like quite the story in itself, or maybe that's the idea. It certain sounds like the kind of "fun" kind of danger in some ways.
[ that is so cute, a shame the mask hides it. points gun at mask ]
If I'm honest, even though there's a lot of risks to some of these Scenarios... I prefer it this way over how my world was before. [ In a dark, cruel world where he was mostly alone. ] I still want to reach the end with my companions and get rid of the Scenarios once and for all but.. it's fun, yes. A fulfilling adventure.
[ maybe he should ask if he could take a peek underneath!! ]
I'm sure that must be a bit of a complicated feeling or even conflicting, but getting people the endings they deserve after difficult trials may feel rewarding in some way.
Not that this means that I think the situation we find ourselves would fall under the same category though I do wish that everyone here receives the kind of end that they deserve, or perhaps, the ending that others dear to them believe they should deserve.
[ because they're aware of those self-loathers out there..!!! ]
[ points at other thread. because today is comforting shamsiel day! ]
I'd agree with that thought, though... I would especially hope our helpful Watchers are also able to get their proper endings. Especially after accepting only to come to... well, this.
It isn't easy. Like how it gets difficult with each coming week. [ After all, once you get attached... it makes it a lot more painful. ] But let's talk about something else. Do you have a favorite story, Shamsiel?
I know I only can speak for myself, however, I would say that I'd only accept the proper ending that I deserve if it meant that you all would get your's first. It'd seem selfish to want otherwise.
[ but they'll nod and welcome the subject change. ]
I'm fond of the the story of the "Town Musicians of Bremen" and "The Blue Bird". The second has a title in French but I don't know how to say it properly. Are you familiar with either of them, Dokja?
Well, first of all it's a fairytale about how love and dedication. It starts off with a two daughters of a king and queen. The king had remarried after his first wife passes leaving him with Princess Florine and the new queen has a daughter of her own, Princess Truitonne.
The two of them are both different in every way. Princess Florine is a kind-hearted and said to be beautiful while her sister Princess Truitonne is spoiled and selfish.
As most stories like this, there's a Prince that enters the picture and falls in love with Florine, however the queen disapproves and tries to force the Price to fall in love with Truitonne.
[ they'll give a pause to see how dokja is taking things. ]
[ Dokja listens along, tilting his head with thought. There are a few different ways that this can go... What does he think? ]
He remains true to his love for Florine, which I can't imagine the Queen will settle with. If she's that determined to pair her daughter with the Prince, she must have sought out a plan. So what does she do?
[ if there's anything to really learn from this story is just how obsessed this queen is about finding a husband for her daughter tbh. ]
Correct! It's actually amazing what all the Queen tries to do and how the Prince resists each of them.
First, she sends gifts to the Prince but he throws them away when he learns they're not from Princess Florine. Second, she tricks the Prince to agree to marry Truitonne by arranging a meeting between the two of them in the dark where he mistakes the two of them. However, on the wedding day, he learns of the trick and refuses to marry Truitonne no matter what. He is threatened multiple times and is even told that if he does not marry Truitonne that he will be transformed into a blue bird—something that he accepts over marrying someone he does not love.
During all of this time, Princess Florine has been locked away in a tower as a means to preventing the Prince to get near her or for her to escape anywhere. Where do you suppose the story goes from here?

Even if it means being cursed, I'd bet he still tries to find and meet with Princess Florine. I don't see his kind of character giving up so easily.
[ He's curious, what becomes the fate of him if so? Most stories do end in a happy ending of sorts. ]
