No, I don't think it's impolite at all - don't worry. [ they make their way over to him, holding their hands up in a sort of gimme gesture as their daemon goes to climb one of the chairs. ] Let's see it. I can heal it a little, at least, so that there's not an infection and it won't scar.

One might argue a week isn't that much time to get used to a change in situation as drastic as this, but perhaps you knowing about and expecting this makes a difference.
