he nods, putting his hands in front of himself. ] Miss Suriel, I think you are very kind, and very brave. I think that you have been a force of light and comfort for many of us in our time here, myself included, and that I have very much enjoyed getting to know you, even if our time together has been short.
[ a little bow of his head. ] It has been an honor to be a part of your 'team', so to speak, and to get to know you.
[ oh... this is so sweet. they have to take a moment to just... hold their face in their hands as their cheeks glow a bit brighter gold. it's so much, and so unexpected? ]
I... I don't know what to say, Xie Lian. I still wish it were under better circumstances, but... I'm glad to have met you, too.
[ he's just like this!!! xie lian smiles, clasping his hands together. ]
Me, too.
[ and then - ] As for the other business to discuss - speaking, I suppose, of unpleasant circumstances. I wanted to ask you about the circle marks that are on a few Celestials' coins. I was talking with Mr. Kotetsu about it, and I was wondering if there might be a way to better hide the circle marks - or make them only appear to people of our faction.
I think... uniting us all together is most certainly helpful - I've been very lucky to have only shared my team with other Celestials, up to this point. [ somehow???? my luck?? ] But... I am worried that seeing the marks on the coins when people may ask us to check powers could lead to suspicion, either of our team alignment or something else entirely. Is there anything we could do?
It's alright, it's alright... I'm glad that Mr. Kotetsu showed his to me, truthfully. Is there anything we can do to try and mitigate the problem...? Perhaps an exchange of some sort?
[ hmmm... thinking. he puts his hand to his chin. ]
...Could you create a false copy of a coin for those who have the marks? Or - perhaps, if you gifted me a power to create an illusion of some kind, could I hide it?
... he brightens after the millisecond of pause. ] Then, Monday! Let's do that on Monday.
[ THEY WILL SOLVE THIS!!!!! ] I'll do what I can to hide the others. Can you tell me how many there are out and about? I know of one, for certain, and one other person who knows.
no subject
[ he smiles, though, and inclines his head. ]
I'll do so immediately, Miss Suriel. Give me just a little while, alright?
no subject
Now! [ claps her hands. ]
You had questions for me, right? What was it?
no subject
Can I tell you how I feel about you? Does that count? And then I will be happy to share.
no subject
[ this isn't what she expected?? ]
Um. Sure. If that's what you want to do.

I guess I could remove the marks, but they'd have to bring the coins back to me.

Mm... There shouldn't be that many. no more than five, I think, because we've been too busy with other things.
