Oh, that's neat! How big can you make it? Can you shield an elephant?

Hm, I think so. The limit probably relies on me and how much force I could manage to keep it going under, but I haven't seen any elephants to practice it on, though.

[ she looks disappointed for a second, and then brightens up. ]

Maybe someone has an elephant friend?

Yes, yes, I'm sure they would! It would be really neat.

But anyway, can I ask a different question?

Oh, the comet? That just means you're one of us - the Celestials. Everyone has one for either team, you just can't see it.

So there's another one for the uh... Temporals, right?

[grigori]

That's right! You can see it on their masks if you talk to them, just like this.

[ tapping the little yellow thing on their mask, where the same comet design is front and center! ]

It's more of a clock design for them.

Why do I feel like I need to keep quiet about it?

[grigori]

Mm... It might have something to do with the nature of being on different teams. It's like... there's a disagreement that we're supposed to help sort out, one way or another. My guess is that they want to see how you'll handle it if you don't know if someone is "friend" or "foe."

[ their nose wrinkles at the idea. it's not ideal, that's for sure! ]

So, it doesn't want us treating each other differently then?

What is the disagreement?

Seems that way.

We don't know the exact details yet. But we've been told that many worlds could be in danger because of it. Considering that, I guess not sharing your team could also be a way of trying to protect you...?

Do you know if you'll be told the details then?

[grigori]

We've kind of been told that we'll learn when it's necessary for us to?

[ shrugs helplessly. ]

I know that's pretty useless for you guys, but I'll definitely tell you once I know more. All you have to do is come and talk to us.

And are you content with this arrangement then?

[grigori]

Well, it's definitely not the best arrangement. But I'm more than happy to be in a position where I can offer help to those who need it.
