Most of the people around here don't seem to respond well with that kind of rigid behavior. Maybe it worked where he's from, but... Yeah. I think he needs to learn to adapt to the crowd a little more.
Most of you are children, or civilians, or have issues with authority for whatever reason.
It's not a great mix. The good intentions are there, but you all come from different worlds and backgrounds. Compromise will be hard, but some sort of negotiations aren't impossible, for the sake of safety.
I think some of them are worried we're going to judge them based on some blanket set of hard rules. I know one of the kids was worried about people being condemned for things back home. It's kind of a sticky situation there.
... sometimes, a second chance and a fresh start are what people need. I'm not the most optimistic Celestial here, let alone Watcher, but I can at least agree on that much.
