Because he’d probably have done it again, if we hadn’t caught him, too. It’s pretty hard to feel guilt or remorse when someone’s that cartoonishly evil about something.

They seem like people who only exist in stories than in real life.

Unfortunately the comically evil are the worst kind. Because they usually don’t give a damn about anyone but themselves.
