ROLE: LION Joonghyuk

KNOWLEDGE CANNOT BE GENTLY EMBRACED

On Monday, at 12 PM EST / 9 AM PST, Niah catches Joonghyuk's attention. Both will innately know that they have somewhere to be, and Niah will be able to lead the way—even if they've never been there before. His form changes, as they're both accustomed to, but takes that of a lion, and upon reaching their destination, they will be greeted by the Watchers.

After finishing their business, Joonghyuk and Niah will not be able to return to this location again without being invited back, regardless of whether they attempt to return on the same day or in the same week. Niah will be able to take his lion form again on his own, but will revert to one of his original forms upon leaving. Joonghyuk and Niah both will know that this form cannot be shared openly, and that caution should be practiced with sharing it privately, as well.


As the lion, Joonghyuk will be given a new task with each new week. Though the specific tasks may vary, all must be completed before Friday at 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST. Should Joonghyuk report successful task completion in time, he may be rewarded. Should he fail, he may be punished.

Additionally, Joonghyuk may use this time to speak directly with the Temporals each week. He may ask questions, receive small hints, or simply chat with them, though any information received will be subject to the Watchers' own discretion.

★ You will be given one task each week, to be completed by Friday at 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST.
★ If the task is completed and reported by the deadline, you may receive a reward.
★ If the task is not completed on time, you may be punished.
★ If you are asked to murder, you will not be allowed to confess before or during trial, and no evidence will be left behind pointing to you.

Having the higher count means more involved to ensure victory. None of us actually want it to resort to this, but last week changed things.

[ Joonghyuk is very picky about this, though he isn't against dwindling numbers. ]

No, it's not. At least, not the only thing.

[ satariel will answer what questions they can, as joonghyuk deserves that much, for being asked to do things. ]

Right now, it's... very "all or nothing," from what little we've gotten to know. So it's a little like they took what happened last week and decided to include it in the stakes.

... I previously said that being able to return home would be enough reward, but I am reconsidering based on all that transpired. I am expecting compensation to match the risks.

That's understandable, Mr. Yoo. We'll also provide you with free of cost requests, if you do wind up being tasked with killing someone, if there's something you need or want. It's only fair.

You can make a request of an item, a power, or information when your tasks are completed.

It'd be a little different from an exchange, yeah, so good catch. Unlike an exchange, which you're basically buying back and can beef up with further exchanges, it'd be more limited. One-time use?

So the limit is one time use, but the potency isn't nerfed?

Depends on the scope of the power, but a little more lenient than the exchanges since you'd only be using it once? You'd have to tell us about it.

Most skills I want, I'd like to use multiple times. [ So sounds like those are for exchanges. ] For items, what if I asked for a protection charm? A resurrection item sounds beyond what can be provided.

Protection charm is completely doable. [ they seem pleased with him asking for this - they want to see him, or anyone he bestowed it upon, stay safe. ] So if that's what you wound up wanting, that's what you could have.

… It’d be ideal to stay alive to do these weekly tasks and get perks that will be helpful to us.

An item that can deflect or just block a fatal blow once can get a person far.
