MURDER DEATH KILL!
MURDER DEATH KILL!
So you want to kill a man. You’re in the right place!
We highly encourage players to come to us and send in murder proposals to spice up the game and make things more fun in trials. Your proposal doesn’t need to be perfect, but you should have a general idea in mind of how you want to go about it. We may also ask you to pick a different victim or change other aspects of your proposal depending on in-game events. Please keep in mind that your murder may not happen in the week you submit your proposal, as we will be operating with murder queue in mind.
Conditional murder proposals are also welcome! That means if there’s a sequence of events that would compel your character to kill, as opposed to choosing a specific victim - for example, if one of your close CR is killed, your character may be inclined to go on a killing spree. Just keep in mind that there are no take-backs; if these events happen, then at least one character must die. Whether this is the character who triggered it or your own will depend on how you and the other participant plan things out.
This also applies to self-defense counter-proposals. You may submit a maximum of one per week, which will activate in the event that your character is targeted for murder. However, you must correctly guess who will be attacking your character (ICly, not OOCly!), or your counter-proposal will fail. And remember, even if you do guess correctly, your counter-proposal is not guaranteed to succeed. Additionally, ounter-proposals will only be in effect for the week they are submitted, so you will have to submit a new one each week if you wish to have that opportunity.
Please see the form below, and please be sure to submit this by Tuesday at 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST of the week you wish to kill! This way we can coordinate with all parties involved.
Note to All Players: If you need to remove your character from gameplay for any reason, please flag your mods by Tuesday at 5 PM EST / 2 PM PST of that week. Thanks!

Character name: Who you're playing
Contact: Your form of contact
Potential Victim(s): Please make this number no more than two!
Murder Plot: A basic rundown will suffice! We'd just like to know what your character is planning to do to their victim and what mechanics are in play. This helps us determine if the plot will fit, what items or resources may need to be pulled in and other necessary factors. If you have something detailed we won't stop you, but we are also happy to work with you!
Evidence: What could go wrong with this? What small piece of evidence or screw-up would be left behind that indicates this was a murder that wasn't a mafia hit? This doesn't have to be blatantly obvious evidence! We encourage players not to latch onto evidence in trials, but we do ask that it's something that can be used to help think about the situation should characters apply a little logic and critical thinking. This can range from items, injuries, faulty alibis, etc.
Other: Any other questions, comments, or concerns that you have! We can address them with you at the time of contact.
